About Us
Welcome to Masleña Rescue Foundation!
We are a registered non-profit 501(c)(3) charity operating in Tijeras, New Mexico. We serve to protect equines from abuse and neglect, provide relief for owner surrenders, and help educate the community about these amazing animals. We have been doing this work since 1999 and appreciate the love and support as we grow to serve the needs in our area.

Planning Your Visit
We do entertain visitors from time to time. We do ask that you schedule in advance as we are a working ranch.
Please see our Contact Page for more details. In addition to making advance arrangements, we ask that all visitors have a signed liability release form completed and ready to go. You can download the Liability Release Form here.
Interested in becoming a volunteer?
A large facility like ours requires quite the labor of love. We often have opportunities for volunteers to help with vital tasks or chores needed around the ranch. Even if you are not local, you can still help out by making a contribution or by sharing our story with friends and family. There are many way you can become a part of our family, too.
